Susie Butler is an accomplished entertainer who has made big band singing her forte and singing her life's purpose and passion. She is a versatile singer, dancer and actor. She attributes her artistic talents to her upbringing in Wichita, Kansas a region rich with jazz history and to her idols - Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald and Pearl Bailey. And also to the good genes in her family tree - (Susie is related to Jerry 'Iceman' Butler on her fathers' side and former Temptation, Eddie Kendrick's on her mothers' side). Out of 9 children only she has been blessed with a 4-octave range that has not only been compared to Sarah Vaughan but also to Leontyne Price, the opera diva. Like Leontyne and Sarah, she is able to sing in both an operatic and pop style. In 1999 Susie released her first CD "Susie Sings Sarah" A Musical Tribute to Sarah Vaughan. And since that time has traveled all over the US as a Celebrity Impersonator of Sarah Vaughan.
