After a long absence, Oldfix is back on the scene with a Progressive Trance track called Lamia Feat. Evan London. This release comes with remixes from FloE and Ground Zero Vibes. The Original track features chorded synths in rhythmic pattern, overlaid with pitch risers which gradually build into the breakdown where Oldfix uses a slide guitar sound with reverb and delay to create an atmospheric contrast. More upbeat and edgy, the FloE remix confidently reinterprets the essence of the Original Mix in Uplifting Trance style, using the atmospheric melody taken from the breakdown over rhythmic chorded synths which keep the track moving along. Faster again, the Ground Zero Vibes remix sets the pace with kick drum, percussion and electric guitar sounds before dropping into the breakdown featuring piano and strings.
