The Inspired Catholic Voices recorded "Can't Stop Serving The Lord!," because they like to sing - sing praises to God. The group sings a mixture of traditional and urban contemporary songs. Not only do they sing good gospel, they actually helped produce "Can't Stop Serving The Lord!" The Inspired Catholic Voices are: Leila Bellow, Leona Powers (often called The Twins) and Luana Striplin. The Inspired Catholic Voices have performed at the well known Kimball’s East in Emeryville, Gospel At The Ranch, Calvin Simmons Theater, Great America, NoHo Arts Center in Los Angeles and Powell’s Place. They have shared the stage with the Mississippi Mass Choir, Rev. Rance Allen, Vicki Winans, Luther Barnes and the gospel legends The Mighty Clouds Of Joy. They have gone as far as east as St. Louis, MO, to be a part of the Missouri Gospel Announcers' Guild conference and as far northwest as Seattle, WA, to be a part of the Seattle Gospel Announcers' Guild Conference. At both conferences, people were amazed at the anointed sound of The Inspired Catholic Voices. The Inspired Catholic Voices were nominated for Best Ensemble in 2003 by The Bay Area Gospel Music Academy. Following that the group received a Community Services Award in 2004 from the O’Town Community Services Committee for their contribution in promoting Gospel music in the Bay Area. The Black Music Association has recognized the anointed, dedicated, hard work done by The Inspired Catholic Voices. In 2007, The Inspired Catholic Voices were blessed to win the award for Bay Area Black Music’s “Best Gospel Group.” When you witness The Inspired Catholic Voices, you not only hear good singing and praising, you will see three ladies dresses REAL GOOD!
