Emissaryband is a constant mission for the three members John Orozco, Daniel Orozco, and Aaron Davis. When asked why the name emissaryband was chosen, lead vocalist/guitarist/pianist, John replied, "It's fascinating when purpose hits you like a flood and you just know what you have to do. We've always had a deep affection for sonic architecture that elevates the name of God, but it wasn't until that day in 2008 that we realized what we wanted the art of music to accomplish. That day our purpose became twofold. The first is to create a worship environment and the second, which is equally important, is to create a worship experience. The experience for us does not happen on stage, it happens when merchandise and cd sales provide for the needs of others. The flood that hit us was profound yet simple; to love God and people through the art of music. This is what we feel compelled to do. Emissary means one sent with a message. We want our message to be clear that God and people matter...
