I brought this together over the past year or so as a result of a lot of hours spent in front of a computer, learning how to play my guitar again, learning to use the computer to record my songs, learning what kinds of resources are available to artists these days, learning about myself. Many of these songs were originally written in the late 1980s while I was in college and have stayed with me ever since. Several of those, however, have received revisions for this recording, both in terms of lyrics and musical arrangement. Some more. Some less. Some have been virtually rewritten in their entirety. Some have had just a word or two changed in a manner that made me wonder why it hadn't occurred to me to do that way the first time. A handful of these songs are completely new and were a great joy to me in rediscovering my long-neglected fascination with songwriting. The wide variety of styles was not intentional but a simple outgrowth of exploring different types of music that I enjoy and different ways of expressing how I feel the music inside. As such, I feel the styles to be more or less organically linked to the lyrical themes. Hopefully you'll find something here that you especially like, but there's a lot here to like regardless.
