Trubz is a rapper from Louisville, KY who believes that “without dreams we are just human” and he is dedicated to turning his dreams into reality. He expresses true meaning, real life situations and experiences through his lyrics and storytelling. Trubz was a former Division 1 baseball player for Murray State University and original birth name is Zach Noonan. Trubz has been a full time musician and artist since he finished his baseball career in 2011, but began making music as early as the age of 14. He has created 4 mixtapes, and 2 solo mixtapes that have received regional recognition titled “Feelings On Paper” and “Sleepin On Trubz”. His latest mixtape had the privilege to be hosted by a Core DJ and a local Kentucky legend DJ Slikk titled “Sleepin On Trubz” found on hotnewhiphop.com/trubzky. Trubz has a hit single titled “Summertime” that has made 5+ top 40 charts nationwide and 30+ college radio stations across the United States and Canada. He also has a club single titled “Cash” that has made numerous radio stations and websites as well including coasttocoastmixtapes.com, and Makin It Magazine’s, “Who Got Hits vol.11”. His hit singles can be found on ITunes. Trubz has shared the stage with World-known acts such as Gorilla Zoe, Shawty Lo, Yung Joc, and many famous DJ’s such as DJ Cliffy D, DJ Z-Nyce, DJ Chuck T, DJ Shark 502, and DJ Slikk. Trubz has accumulated over 250,000 YouTube views over the past few years and has his own page, YouTube.com/TrubzKY. His biggest hit thus far in his career has been the “Murray State Anthem” in which he and his former partner collaborated to make the University’s basketball anthem which received over 146,000 views. Trubz, most recently, has taken his music career to Nashville, TN, where he looks to expand into an innovator of hip hop and reach out to different target audiences such as country and rock. Trubz has an original and innovative 6 song EP titled “The Beginning PhaZes” that will be released in spring of 2014 and available on his website TrubzMusic.com!
