简介
Featuring performances by musicians from Santana and the Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band, this long-awaited second full-length release from the Firme rockeros will keep the party going for sure. Dolores is spanish for "pains." Don't worry, the lyrics are in english. Mostly. Firme (literally "solid") is Mexican slang for "kickass." Firme (pronounced FEAR-may) has been energizing crowds across California for seven years, honing their distinct brand of reggae-rock con sabor for maximum flavor. Fans have begged for a new album for years. With help from their friends - producer Juan Caipo of rock-en-español phenom Orixa, producer Francisco Torres from the Poncho Sanchez band, engineering help from Brian Wallace of Sublime, and a healthy dose of percussion from maestros Alfredo Ortiz (Los Villains, Beastie Boys, Morningwood) and Karl Perazzo (Santana) - an indie masterpiece began to take shape. Reggae pulled this way, Latin Jazz pulled right back, and Rock music never knew what hit it. Behold... "DOLORES." Listen up. This is the new poster band for Latin Alt-Rock.
