This cover song of "I Ran", originally by A Flock of Seagulls, was produced completely online, with collaborating musicians - Anton Wannemakers (Bass Guitar - Mierlo Brabant, Netherlands), Clifford Robin Stevens (Rhythm Guitar, Drums - Philadelphia PA, USA), Mike Patterson (Vocals - Portland OR, USA) and Tony Inosencio (Lead Guitar, Mixing/Mastering - Fruitport MI, USA) - never having met nor spoken. Instead, using the musician's collaboration website, Kompoz dot com, Cliff conceived of the cover song idea, uploaded some scratch rhythm guitar and drums tracks, then using the website's online private messaging system and project collaboration tools, invited Mike, Tony and Anton to join in on the creation of this completely re-imagined, hard-rock version of the 80's pop hit. All four musicians contributed their tracks, recorded individually in each of their home studios, and discussed and reworked it all online and in their home studios until the song's completion and release January 15, 2015.
