It is the story of a young man, who was a hero in Iraq but now suffers from Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, the name for the overwhelming human cost on the minds and souls of our brave young people who have served in this war. I hope that the lyrics and haunting melody of this song will touch people everywhere and give comfort to those who share his pain - to let them know we all understand, appreciate their sacrifice, and wish them well.
