「butterfly」Is not just an album, it is a multidimensional story of descent into madness and the price of recovery, a socio-psychological thrill ride for the listener that leaves you in a sate of shock, awe, disgust, resolution, or sorrow- or perhaps all at once. The album focuses around three tracks, namely Trilogy: Act I, Trilogy: Act II, Sozialista, and Act III, where a proverbial lost and confused subject struggles with escaping the confines of the modern hyperindividualistic and almost vampiric society. Realizing that escape isn't without sacrifice, our character pushes himself to the end of his ability to soul search, to the brink of ultimatum. Act III concludes in subtle ambiance and ambiguity, leaving, the listener to decide how our character has dealt with his own fate. The NJ based VK inspired band Ossu hopes to continue releasing deeply moving and intense music, as the most important aspect of music is the fundamental human sense of connection it can invoke.
