This series of Shamanic Drum beats are designed to create a collection of sacred patterns for our current cultural mix. These are not egotistical drum solos. They are steady meditative minimalist magical sacred and respectful of the subtleties of energy movement in rhythm. Using a drum to manifest our wishes is not just for advanced drummers. The basic patterns are the most powerful. I used this pattern when drumming for martial artists in Japan and in L.A. It is a especially appropriate for Shinto Muso the ancient form of defending and fighting using only a stick. There is a utube on my website showing this. By training with this rhythm, you create a trance that is strong and relaxed. No panic. This generates fluid movement like dance. Creating reality with rhythm is what these Shamanic beats are all about.
