VERY blown away. The production value is stellar, the programming rowdy, the power chords abundant, the vocals 100% compatible. Did I mention power chords? 'Sadistic' is just down and dirty dampening and raunchy fretboard mischief. The samples, reminiscent of the ol' school Stigmata days of Grandpa Jourgensen. What really sold me on this 10 track fabricated disc was 'Kingdom'. Just fantastic. While the lyrics provides a well-deserved slam on Catholicism, the beat alternates between happy synth motif and cranky power chords. Sweet. Another great track is' Work' which is more of the same. That's not to say it's all guitar haven, they do have tracks where the synth is the primary driver - readily apparent on 'Hypecrash' and 'Pharmacy'. Few industrial bands do the heavy-handed guitar thing anymore, Firewerk is one of those rare exceptions and they come off fresh and new. Hey, don't overlook these guys.
