It seems a young Antonio Jackson was destined to be in the music industry. Born into a musically-inclined family from Detroit, his grandmother, and aunts sang in the church choir and with exposed him to classic music and Motown Soul. However the passion for Antonio’s rap career was ignited by listening to the lyrical delivery by Tupac Shakur on the song “So Many Tears” Yet it wasn’t until a history class in high school, while learning about the Black Plague epidemic that hit Europe 1347 that his chosen name came to be Epidemyk –“to affect more than one place at once” It perfectly aligned with his intention and style which is all about versatility Epidemyk’s passion for hip- hop was evident , and credits rap legends Jay-Z and Nas as two of his major influences because of their phenomenal story-telling and lyrical abilities. With a blossoming rap career on the horizon, Epidemyk’s decision to leave the Motor City and his financial hardships behind to relocate to Arizona would be the turning point his career. “There was nothing else to lose at this point! states Epidemyk., and with the guidance of his father and his uncle, Rob Davis CEO of Robbonation Music Group - Epidemyk music career began to prosper. Now signed to Robbonation Music Group and living in Sin City Epidemyk is working at the cribbo with multi-platinum producer, Mally Mall (Drake, French Montana, ,Wiz Khalifa, Tyga , Juicy J) on his forthcoming Album.

Epidemyk’s debut singles and videos “Don’t Wanna Wait”, featuring Sean Kingston, and ‘’Living in the Sky’’, featuring Slim & Jazz are both due out in September 2015 and are both destined to be chart-bound hits.
