Well it’s here ,the 2nd “Digital By Birth” album. The last one was all about punk, Metal and Rap, but this one’s quite a departure from that. Me and Trent are working on the 3rd album “The Manufacture of Cool”, which will be ambient tinged, Post Punk BUT “Brain Candy” is mainly about the electronic side of our project. All the programming and samplings been done on my old games console and my aim with it was to take one perfect riff and then build a track around it, so it develops and builds up slowly. I think for the most part it works quite well. This is also the first album where some of the material was transferred digitally and not just taken from audio tape, so the production is a bit cleaner. It was about 50/50, so look out for that hiss on some tracks!

I’ve also worked with some Artists and other Friends on this album. “Nigel Bonsor” is a very talented, up and coming singer song writer and you can hear his great voice and guitar over my loop on the track “Living in Binary”. “Sean Hudspeth” and me worked together on the country esq, glitch of “I can’t slow down” and he assures me he was going for a “Beta Band” type thang. I’ll have to take his word on that. Both these guys can be followed on “SoundCloud”.

“Jennor B” laid down the original angelic vox on “Kontrol” before I sampled her and remixed the hell out of it. This was done more as a favour for me as I’ve wanted to work with her ever since I heard her sing in her performance of The Rock Opera "We Will Rock You!".

The album has elements of” HipHop”, “Industrial” and “electronica” and over all I’ve tried to make a glitchy, ambient, chill out album – don’t know IF I succeeded but it’s here for you to find out.
