Born and raised in the Bronx, Sean Baker has been burning the candle at both ends inside and outside the music industry for years. For him, the grind has been a part of his daily routine since his humble beginnings as a choir member of his local church. Ive been doing this, singing for years, to get my name out there. From the church choir, to weddings, to high school, to college, to the underground shows, Ive been grinding to make things happen. Sean Bakers grinding eventually paid off both literally and figuratively when he ran into a group of music producer upstarts from the Bronx and Brooklyn that he would later join and eventually come to be known as The Arkatechz. Sean waxes poetic with a broad smile recalling how it all began: "When we all met, none of us had an idea of how things would go or how they would flourish. We never had any doubts though. As tired as we would get sometimes, we would never stop and I'm not upset about it because this is how I learned how to produce music. As a singer/songwriter/producer as part of the production team The Arkatechz, Sean Baker was able to co-write and/or co-produce songs for a variety of established artists in the industry from The late Big Pun, Nas, The Game, Terror Squad, Wu-Tang Clan, and others. Sean Baker owes his talent as a singer/songwriter/producer to not only something that is just an innate part of him, but also to his years of experience.
