21 Memory Lane is a story of love found, lost and regained. It is a collection of love songs written based on real experiences and sequenced to mimic the lifespan of a relationship. It is also in genres not typically associated with the Ko-Jo cue. On ‘You Decide’ Ko-Jo Cue & Ricky Tyler leave a message for their exes recounting good times and the desire to do better if given a second chance. ‘For You’ featuring Joeboy and ‘Sumo Bo’ featuring Reynolds TGM are celebrations of love at its highest peaks, filled with happiness and underlined by a promise of forever. Ko-Jo Cue and Efya compliment each other on ‘DBMH’ a duet about love turning sour. ‘Kama’ is a celebration of freedom after leaving a relationship and rebound love. Cue closes it off beautifully with ‘My Ex’ a beautifully vulnerable song about chasing after lost love which ends with a phone call to his ex. The same phone call begins the project and goes to voicemail, creating a beautiful loop eerily similar to the endless cycle
