VRSA's DIY philosophy comes from the years spent recording their own individual solo efforts. "We just don't see the point of spending the money to have someone record us that doesn't have the same creative investment as we do" Josh Started Last Bastion Studios as a means to record his own songs and VRSA grew out of that creative space. Morphing over the years with members joining and leaving each person making their own contribution to what has become this debut full length album called Old Man Gray. During the time the songs were being written personal losses in family and friends have given the over all theme to the album: the mysteries and wonders of death. Old Man Gray is dedicated to all those who have transcended this physical plane.
