Moon's work is noted for its great originality, natural, idiomatic feel and assured technical skill. Saros -- a cycle of eclipses of the Moon that is useful for calculating when future eclipses shall occur -- collects together seven works composed between 2005 and 2011 into a cycle of its own, orbiting through a full and varied menu of moods through chamber pieces, piano music and songs.
