In 2009 Shortlord looks back on a large discography. His awareness level grews up far beyond the City limts of Hamburg. Throughout Germany and Great Britain his name is well known within the HIP-HOP and Reggae-Scene. Short Lord is a part US, part French Guiana single father who works as an MC and producer in Hamburg. He grew up in Frankfurt within a US Army Base. His relationship to music evoluted in the streets of Frankfurt and Hamburg. His debut was in 1995 with the Crew „2Ruff“ from Hamburg. That single went straight up into the Top 50. In 1996 Shortlord moved to Hamburg an worked together with other MC's and producers. From that on Thinks were looking up for him, even his career had to overcome several ups and downs. In 2000 Shortlord collaborated with Eric Iq from NY for the song „The Fight“, which was played up and down on MTV. Besides Shortlord works together with Nekka, Daddy Freddy and other artists. Even he stands still at the beginning of his carreer, Shortlord forms the spearhead of „Roots related, english spoken conscious HipHop/Reggae - Made in Germany“.
