简介
“. . . While camping out in Elizabeth, Colorado for the past seven years, Smith was busy archiving the songs of his partner Linda Lou Kestin-Meier, the album list continued to grow to and outstanding 14 compact discs worth of music in their library of songs. Just imagine all of this collaboration of music started back in 1975 after Smith had returned from duty in South East Asia. January 2007 saw two new albums recorded by Smith in almost ten (10) years. Kestin’s poetry book of “The Changing Forms of Me” ignited a fire that produced two new albums this year. With many thanks to Kestin for her great inspiration and love, this new set is right up there. It all started with Claridge Records distributed by Paul McCartney’s MPL Communications before his purchase of Claridge Records in 1979, which closed CKS Records. As Smith never understood the word “No”, he kept right on producing records for CKS, Platinum Sound and D-Town Records for over thirty-seven years. With some hits and misses, as with any business, just plan “longevity” has kept this venture up and running. It’s all about the love of the people in whose lives keep us going. So happy Album number #16 for Kestin & Smith. . .”
