The Lonely Heart EP is an emotional journey. The songs each tell a story of how deep and twisted love can be. With the tones of Blues, Rock and Americana fueling each track of Lonely Heart, the listener will be taken on a journey of their own making. The songs are relatable for anyone who has experienced the joy and also the pain real love can cause. Ddendyl is an Americana and Blues singer/song writer. Ddendyl’s budding musical career began during her childhood years in the rural area of Castile, NY. While taking private lessons for violin and oboe, Ddendyl began teaching herself how to play the piano in order to compose her own music. She began studying Classical Vocal Music as well at the age of 9. With the support of her parents and private teachers, Ddendyl was able to attend and graduate from the prestigious Interlochen Academy of Arts for her high school career where she began realizing her passion for performing and song writing. Recently named “2014 Artist of the Year” for the Western New York Area by the Batavia Daily News, Ddendyl was also a contestant on Season 6 of NBC’s, “The Voice” with Colombian Superstar, Shakira. After her tenure on “The Voice”, Ddendyl has had the privilege of sharing the stage with ACM (Academy of Country Music) New Artist of the Year, Justin Moore in Traverse City Michigan. She has also performed with Sebastian Mikael and Grammy Award Nominee, Elle Varner. Ddendyl has also had the pleasure of participating in the Chasing Dreams Tour and The Texas Swing Tour in 2014 with fellow “Voice” contestant Clarissa Serna. In December 2014, she had the pleasure of sharing the spirit of the Holidays for Macy’s in Washington, DC with the new face of Under Armor and Prima Ballerina, Misty Copeland. Ddendyl is also a featured singer in The Rasta Rock Opera. Her “sultry and unique voice stylings” can be heard in venues around New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and her current home town, Washington, DC. Ddendyl's voice is as unique as it is powerful. Her tones and inflections are unmistakable. As a firm believer for love and equality for all people, Ddendyl is a spokesperson for the Free 2 Luv Partnership an anti bullying organization and a host of the online series Free 2 Be You.
