I have been creating music all my life. I did a lot of walking in my youth and apart from witnessing many secrets of nature, I was always creating songs in my head. My family life as a child was rather devoid of music, but one Christmas my brother received a drum. He wasn't too interested in playing it but I was fascinated. Rhythm was so important to me. I played that drum whenever the house was empty and soon I was asked to join my first band. I was frustrated that I had all these song ideas and no way to interpret them for others so I learned the guitar and then the piano. I had one lesson in my life, from my Grandmother, who showed me the names of the keys before she was lost in the song she was using to teach me. The lesson lasted about 5 minutes but that was enough to move me forward. I have since played in many groups in different countries and recorded with some of the finest musicians in the world. I am very grateful for their contributions to this album, 'CHANGE'. I enjoyed studio work and with the help of Dave Barber, I became a producer and have produced all my albums and many others as well.
