Cameron McGuire, also known as Cam, was born on November 9, 1991 in Huntsville Alabama. While growing up in his hometown, he was taught to read music and play the piano by his aunt at an early age. He later furthered his musical knowledge by joining the band at Ed White Middle School and learned to play the snare drum and saxophone. Cam started to write poetry during his middle school years, which turned into rapping after a longtime neighborhood friend loaned him a fruity loops 3 music program to learn how to use. After years of learning and collaborating on beats and a few recorded tracks with fellow local rappers and producers, he and a couple of friends opened a home studio (Geek Squad Studios) and began to work on various mixtapes with other artists and also a group mixtape (To The Moon). The debut mixtape was released on 4/20/12, a timely release to coordinate with the unofficial holiday, and features his group, Monstarz Inc., throughout the entire mixtape. Monstarz Inc. Consists of Cam, Marz, Big B, and God Guerrilla X. Cam is currently working on his first independent mixtape entitled Debo and is is expecting to release it by the fall of 2012.
