I made this album some time ago but, due to other stuff - y' know-other music business, life etc. - I only just got round to releasing it properly...

Some songs are like ghosts that follow you down the years. They remain shapeless and haunt your semi-conscious hours. Others arrive, fully-formed, in the middle of the night and demand to be scribbled down immediately.

In Phil’s tiny studio-under-the-stairs we wrestled some of these into the real world, dressed them up and put ‘em out there!

I suppose every song, whether therapeutic, angry, wistfully romantic or just a rollicking tale is a short story. I hope you enjoy some of mine. JG
