When Francis Scott Key wrote this song, it was meant to describe the true characteristics of a great people. It was meant to be a constant reminder of American Spirit and to remind each American of the greatness that lies within them. America is great and shall always be great as long as its people proudly stand up for the mighty principles embedded in our beloved Constitution and exemplify true American values. We must never apologize for being Americans. More importantly, we must act like Americans by being honest, hard-working, dedicated to educating our children, dedicated to promoting education and business, Dedicated to increasing domestic productions while reducing major dependency on foreign imports, fair in our judgement of others, loving toward one another. Lastly, yet most important, we must ever remember "IN GOD WE TRUST". This song is often a difficult song for me to sing in that my emotions often get the best of me because this song means so, so, very much to me. I truly love America - THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON THIS PLANET!!! I love you all... Now evaluate yourself and ask the question, " Am I being a good American?" This song will warm the hearts of all American Patriots and friends of America.
