Written by composer David William Mann and featuring pianist Michael Korzhev, Dreams in the Mind of God is a poetic yet dazzling composition that is both beautiful and mesmerizing. It describes a journey across a sonic landscape that begins with one being seduced by an illusory sense of beauty, much like the sailors who were lured to their deaths by the call of sirens. As the spell is broken, disillusionment is all that remains. However, when the thing of beauty can no longer be pursued, one is left adrift and without direction. At some point one relinquishes their attachment to the object of their desire and finds peace through a deep inner silence. From this place, life erupts again new and vibrant.
