In the fall of 2008 we (Forest and Sadie San Filippo) decided we needed to take a step of faith. We had both been involved in music for a long time, but we sensed that we should be doing more. So we made plans, dreamed dreams, prayed prayers, and quit our jobs. With our schedules cleared of normal daily responsibilities we finally found the time to record our first album and launch a new ministry. With so many great christian bands out there, and so many opportunities to get caught up in the music industry side of the scene; we wanted to approach things a little differently. We made it our goal to be a bridge connecting local (Gospel teaching) ministries with the lost in their communities. We have a deep desire to help believers reach outside the walls of the church building to those who are in desperate need of our Savior. We hope to accomplish this through our two-fold events. The first part happens within churches or campus ministries for the purpose of encouraging believers to get out in the world and accurately share the Gospel of Christ with love. It consists mostly of worship music and teaching. The second part happens at a concert in a secular venue. We play music that is intended for non-believers. We don’t try to put on a big show, but to be a catalyst for conversations about faith, sin, life, death and ultimately Jesus. The end result, Lord willing, is that the Gospel is shared with non-believers, and that they are connected in a discipleship relationship with a believer. While we do ministry we ask for no donations beyond travel expenses and lodging. We are funded as a ministry by the sale of C.D.s and the support of individuals whom God has led to help us financially. For more info, please feel free to check-out our website.
