简介
After nearly 3 years of blood, sweat, tears, and perseverance, Bristol Tennessee's hardcore metal machine, Omega Tribe, finally released their long awaited sophomore album, the "Necromegacon". The title, a mix between the band's namesake and the legendary Book of The Dead, is only a prelude to the sheer musical destruction conveyed throughout this album. Produced by Mike Stevenson and guitarist, Gene Hughes, the Necromegacon mixes the intensity of Slayer and Entombed with the epic songwriting qualities of Neurosis and is a true testament of the band's strength and determination for their music. Formed in 1999, Omega Tribe quickly developed a local reputation as one of the most devastating live acts in the area. Just as the band started recording the follow-up to their 2000 debut (Then titled, Anatomy of the End, and later titled ...And the Cycle Begins) financial troubles and a revolving-door guitar slot delayed the album's recording and release. However, after a grueling process, the time has finally come for the Necromegacon to be unleashed upon the masses. The Necromegacon features 9 intense tracks of old school metal fury with a hardcore fervor that, up until now, has only been evident at the band's live shows. The production this time around has finally taken the brutality of the band's live shows and successfully put it on cd. The guitars are crushing, the drums are pounding, the bass is pronounced, and the vocals are extremely vicious but melodic as well. This album is a force unlike anything the global metal scene has ever experienced. Prepare yourselves, The Necromegacon has been opened.
