Born March 7th 1974, Mack has always known since birth he was different. At the tender age of 9 he began drawing and writing poetry which you can say kick started his life into the Arts. Fast Forward...during the early 80's this love for music grew stronger as he listened to such groups as Public Enemy, X-Clan, Heavy D, Big Daddy Kane and MC Lyte just to name a few thinking he would see himself doing this one day, joking of course. This was an on and off love relationship as Rap Music took over in the late 80's early 90's and Hip Hop slowly started too die out. In 1997 Mack began dabbling into writing poetry again, he along with friends started making beats by blending tracks together (mixing) into something 'Unique'. This lasted for several years (2003), but as time and life progressed he and music grew apart until suddenly finding himself not writing or making beats. In Late 2008, Mack began writing poetry again and started "text battling" over Instant Messenger. Mack (DJ Mack @ the time) joined a few websites such as soundclick poetry etc in order to perfect his knack for story telling and to continue his growth as a lyricist. Due to the overwhelming hate, biased opinions and all around bad vibes from various members, Mack broke away from this scene yet took what was learned and applied it into what you hear today! The Artist known as Mack Mirage was born in the summer of 2009 as he felt he was ready to share his gift with the world and has not looked back! (TM)
