Josef Spencer, tenor, enjoys singing music of diverse styles. With a group of friends, they started Jubilate, Inc. to preserve and perform music composed by African American and music of the African Diaspora. James Roos, the Music Critic of the Miami Herald, hailed Josef as “Miami’s truly ardent tenor”. He was a 2008 Finalist in the American Traditions Competition at the Savannah Music Festival. In 2002, Josef and Clay Ostwald released a CD called “A Mother’s Prayer”.
