简介

Ez SixOSix started to really get involved with music in the early 90s, jamming to great MCs that would become critical influences to his life. Hip Hop delivered a message that mirrored the living conditions he was forced to grow up in and the messages of MCs like Dr. Dre, 2pac, Bone Thugs N Harmony, LL Cool J, Brotha Lynch Hung, Do or Die, Twiztid, & ICP helped pave a way for the young MC to channel those harsh conditions. He talked about rapping over cassette tapes and instrumentals at the age of 13. As time would progress he would begin to create remixes of songs he would hear over the radio. As he got older he would start several bands but it always seemed to be something that he was destined to do solo. Ez SixOSix would begin putting in work and with great influences like the powerful Nashville, TN rappers at the time, Haystak, Jelly Roll, and Struggle he started performing at shows. In late 2005 a tragedy of losing his son to a still born birth, would send this promising rapper into a tail spin of alcohol, drugs, and visions of suicide. Battling the darkness and the law would later bring an edginess of the horrorcore to his flow. Once over the tremendous loss, EZ SixOSix began pushing for his dream inspired by his son. He fights to make it in music to make his son proud. He released a CD called Rarebreed in 2013, which can be downloaded from Datpiff.com with songs like Lost Found Ft. Hard Target, IDGAF, and I’m All That Ft. Powder. Listening to Rarebreed you can see that through it all Ez SixOSix was reborn a MC that is all his own and without comparison. The next project promises to be a huge release and one of his darkest projects to date. He explained that all the painful disappointments, mistakes, and time that had been lost are a catalyst to a stronger, sometimes hidden creativity and he is ready to bare it all on the upcoming Verbal Disease album. He states Verbal Disease was created with his need to spit the sickness and infect the masses. Ex SixOSix also believes that the #VoiceOfTheMisfits is the essence of who he is as a musician and throughout the years that voice has been one that has bonded himself and his fanbase. The black sheep, the men and women who dealt with people who told them they would never be shit, and the ones who strive for a dream that most people believe is unobtainable. He believes the fans are the glue and the relationships built over the world’s harsh and opinionated beliefs surely makes them family and makes them the voice of the misfits. He remembers the day this all came about, it was during an interview when the guy just said sounds to me that you are the voice of the misfits.
