Anoesis, Sarah Troy's 5th independent album of original songs, encapsulates her musical and personal aesthetic at this point in her life. Recorded and produced by Jackson Hoffman in loving dorm rooms at Berklee College of music, Anoesis was created in late winter and spring of 2013 with the help of a wide variety of talented musicians. Sarah Troy's songs vary slightly in feel throughout the EP, shifting from a pop/jazz to a pop/art rock feel, with influences from artists such as Bon Iver, Radiohead, Feist, and Norah Jones.
