Upsin Hounds is the self-titled debut album from the Chicago-based group blending rock, pop, and a touch of soul to form a unique yet relatable sound. With influences from groups such as Fleetwood Mac, Heart, and others of the classic rock era, their lush three part harmonies create a timeless and atmospheric timbre while staying true to their roots with a rock trio behind the voices. Upsin Hounds met while studying together at Columbia College Chicago in the fall of 2012. Put together in a classroom with the goal of creating a band, they began down the path of forming a musical bond that would persist far beyond the confines of the school’s walls. Upsin Hounds have since gone on to hit the stage at many of Chicago's finest venues, including The Metro and Lincoln Hall, and have quickly established a name for themselves in the city's ever-growing music scene.
