Jeremy Austin Dukes (better known by stage name J Dukes) is an American Recording Artist and Record Producer. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Jeremy grew up the youngest of 4 siblings. Growing up with both mother and father, he could often be found watching his father record and produce music himself. With previous success for his father within the Industry, i.e( Heaven & Earth and Cashmere of the mid to late 1970's), it was only a matter of time before Jeremy would go from confusingly banging keys on the piano, to arranging his own classic melodies and songs. Since as early as the age of 8, he was taught how to play the piano and performed in numerous recitals at the "Sherwood Conservatory of Music". From Beethoven to Bach, J has added a great catalog of classical musical accolades before departing for his own ventures and creative growth.

Jeremy went to high school on Chicago's south side at King College Prep h.s.While attending, he joined the marching band. Quickly, he was able to pick up on playing a new instrument, the baritone. Performing with the band in Chicago's annual Bud Biliken Parades, Windy City Football Classic, numerous band competitions as well as President Obama's inauguration in Washington D.C., are just a few notable mentions on his list

Attending the University of Southern Illinois for a year, J began making a name for himself as "that guy who can play anything". From early 90's R&B to newer, hip hop and R&B tunes, J Dukes demonstrated the makings of a thriving musical career.

Since leaving school, J returned to his hometown, developing his craft even more, and performing at selective open mic events throughout the city. Developing and ear for rhyme schemes, catchy melodies and beautifully crafted chords, J Dukes hones the full musical experience. Through perfecting his craft over time, a lot can be expected from this kind of refreshing true talent.
