Charlie Singer was born in Belgium in 1952 and came to the US at the age of 2 with his family including, symphony violinist Samuel Singer. Following in the footsteps of his father, he soon became a multi instrumentalist playing guitar, mandolin, and harmonica. Influenced by the likes of John Fahee, Blind Blake, and Mississippi John Hurt, he performs a vast variety of genres, but primarily sticks to his roots in traditional country blues, and original fingerpicking guitar.
