Close To Home is the 2009 album from the British singer songwriter and performer, her first new album in over a decade. Beverley Craven is best known for her 1991 hit "Promise Me", and Close To Home promises another collection of pleasant orchestrated ballads. Craven released her debut album in 1990 and has gone on to win numerous awards including a Brit Award for 'Best Newcomer' in 1992. She dropped out of the music business for over 10 years, concentrating on raising her three children and dealing with breast cancer.
