J.Paul Brittain was born in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Northside High School of the Performing Arts in Atlanta, Georgia.Soon after he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to tour and record with Sony/Tree recording artist "JAG".After the disintegration of JAG, Paul realized he was frustrated with the trendy bandwagon-jumping of his peers and set about documenting his own style with a series of demo tapes.What emerged was at once grippingly current but yet, timeless and classic.When asked about his sound Paul says," morphing the elements I love about Disco, Heavy Metal, Euro-Pop, and Beatle Rock into one cohesive flavor is the big thrill I get out of J.PAUL".
