Recalling at times the complicated rhythmic experiments of German genre-abusers Atom Heart and Elfish Echo, Fujikawa's approach is almost orchestral in its complexity, with tracks evolving and mutating constantly. Although the jazzier elements present themselves in the more obvious form of samples and instrumental passages, the album is also extremely improvisational in tone, escaping the mechanical feel characteristic of much experimental electronica.
