Chevon Corlew-Coleman and Jeremiah 29:11 originated in Crestview, Florida. This group of 12 has grown from friends to a very close family. Under the leadership of Chevon Corlew-Coleman, Jeremiah 29:11 have been able to do a great work for the Kingdom of God. This anointed group of young people was formed by Chevon in 2005. From then until now, God has continuously and tremendously blessed the ministry of Chevon Corlew-Coleman and Jeremiah 29:11, and over the past few years has made them stronger in their delivery of praise and worship to Him.

Chevon’s music experience began as a child with various groups and choirs from her birth home of Springfield, Ohio. The Lord has blessed her to be able to share the stage with and open up for many of the Gospel industries premier artists and groups. She was asked to sing a duet with Larnell Harris and she has opened up shows for John P. Kee, Commissioned, Trinity 5:7 and God’s Property. She has also performed on the Bobby Jones Show with John Legend. After forming the group, Chevon was afforded the opportunity to have one of the songs that she composed, “A Little More, “added to CeCe Winans recently released album, “Pure Worship”.

Accomplishments are not a rare or foreign experience to this group. In 2005, they won a radio contest for Psalms 91.1, in which Christian groups from all across the Florida panhandle participated. In that same year they were asked to open up for Minister Joe Pace of the Colorado Mass Choir. They have been asked by the NAACP to perform for their Okaloosa County, Florida annual banquet and they were also asked to perform for Cox Communications black history arts festival.

The mission of the group is to see the fallen lifted, the weak strengthened, the broken mended, and anyone who may be in need of Christ to come to know his unfailing love.
