The band is about to take the Norwegian rock scene by storm. They play energetic, riff based, melodic metal, with inspiration from both advanced progressive rock and also the simple melodic tones you will find in 80's metal music. The majority of the musicians have a longstanding presence and broad experience in Norway's rock scene. The pulsating bass and drums underlies the music - it delivers body blows that defy description! These guys have a long history together, which you sense in their music. The bass and drums compliment each other perfectly. The band has two skilled guitarists, who both know their instruments intimately, and will give you heavy riffs and screaming solos! They represent two generations: one grew up in the 80's with it's music, the other is 19, and wishes he had grown up in that era. It is visible in his performance that the 80's is his inspiration! Behind the keys you will find another creative, skilled musician, who will seize any opportunity to add fat, melodic tones, which makes the music even more powerful and aggressive. You'll be taken on a journey by someone who really knows his instrument. On vocals is another accomplished musician, who has mastered the heavy metal genre to the fullest! The vocals are powerful, but also tempered. He brings you through the melodies and lets you feel the fullness of the music, something that is rare in Norwegian heavy rock these days. In 2011 and 2012 Lucid Dreams toured many places in Norway. 2013 is set aside to record the new album which will be released this year.
