Maxida Märak, a member of the Swedish indigenous Sami people, collaborates with one of Europe’s most prestigious bluegrass bands, Downhill Bluegrass Band. Maxida alternates modern singing with the traditional Sami/ Lappish singing, “yoik”. The mix between bluegrass and yoik has probably never been heard before. Downhill Bluegrass Band have been around for 15 years and have released 4 full length CD’s. This single contains two tracks and is a sample of upcoming full length collaboration
