About me: DEFACED is the alias of musician, songwriter and producer Curtis Hammond. Originally from Wales now living in the south West of England he's worked hard since April 2016 to bring his skills as multi instrumentalist, graphic artist and producer together to create a sound and style that's a unique blend of pop-punk and hardcore punk influences, mashed up with both rapping and screaming to create a sound similar to that of bands like A Day To remember and Four Years Strong with the lyrical flow of frontmen like Zack De La Rocha (Rage Against the Machine) and Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park). Being The sole individual at the core of DEFACED, Curtis is able to have full control over the direction of his music both stylistically and in terms of production. DEFACED has so far released his debut E.P entitled 'POWER, WISDOM, COURAGE' in June 2017 which Curtis himself has called 'Just the beginning'. About the E.P: 7 Original tracks written, performed and arranged by DEFACED, with lyrical focus on different chapters of my life over the last year and the struggles it has brought. Each track has a unique sound, blending together to make something quite unique by throwing a blend of pop punk, hardcore punk as well as rap and metal into the mix.
