Adelaide based indie-folk-pop band Axe & the Ivory, formed in 2014, are building a reputation for their intricate guitar melodies, harmonies and songwriting skills. The four-piece outfit is led by Rosie Roberts on keys and Ben Lovell on guitar, supported by Charlie Worthington on drums and James Lovell on percussion. Their music is inspired by the likes of Daughter and Ben Howard. Axe & the Ivory have been hard at work recording their long awaited debut EP entitled ‘Wish I Was Yours’ and are finally releasing it to the World. The three track album features cello, composed and performed by David Sharpe, Principal Cellist from the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.
