Stephanie Braganza blends elements of commercial pop, electro, and dance styles to create her exciting & electric original sound. Stephanie Braganza is a powerhouse vocalist and performs with a full live band - performing with guitarist/co-writer Colin Stewart. She studied with such greats as Juno award winner Rik Emmett (Triumph), Pat LaBarbera, and Trish Colter and earned Tuition Scholarship for the Vocal Program at Humber College. Stephanie has been performing at prestigious Toronto venues such as The Mod Club, The El Mocambo, The Exhibition Center, The Orbit Room as well as Yonge-Dundas Square. With her national airplay, she has been able to tour in various parts of Canada as well. The first single “2 Good 2 Be” from her new project has earned a spot on an international compilation album - Goa Chillout Zone Vol.5 which has been is sent to 11,000 radio, dance clubs and retail stores “2 Good 2 Be” is slated for national single and video release this summer. Her track “Fantasy” reached #5 on BeatsDigital.com charts, and Stephanie was invited to sing with rap artist Belly and Ginuwine at the Muchmusic Video Awards. She is the winner of the coveted 2012 Toronto Independent Music Award (TIMA) for Best LIVE category, beating out hundreds of acts and achieving the top score in the category. She’s performed at top festivals like the Masala! Mehndi! Masti! Festival, as well as the 2012 DesiFest, 2012 and 2013 Toronto Veggie Pride Parade. She was the was the cover story for Indo Portuguese Magazine, with appearances on CITY TV/OMNI’s "V-Mix" and Rogers TV's "South Asian Focus", "TVOne Canada" and "Daytime".
