Fifteen years ago, I wrote, copyrighted, and recorded the attached song, "Christmas in the Castro". I gave it away as a gift to friends and family that Christmas. Less than 6 months after we recorded it, my arranger and piano accompanist, Sky Evergreen, died of complications of HIV. I decided that as a fundraiser for HIV charities, I would have the recording professionally packaged and sold the Christmas of 1997, but only in cassette tape format. Of course, cassettes quickly became obsolete, and I never had it transferred to digital format until just a couple of weeks ago, when I found the original Digital Audio Tape and had if converted to CD format, which I converted to the mp3 format, which is now available here for you to enjoy.
