Emma began modelling as a teenager and has frequently appeared in feature films, commercials and magazines in the UK and Australia. With a Degree in Philosophy and a Postgraduate Degree in Social Work, for three years she juggled working as a Social Worker whilst carrying out assignments in modelling, TV and Film. She has everything - talent, looks, personality and most importantly a keen intelligence.' Encouraged by the initial response to her debut tracks, she has now released her 2nd EP 'Magnet'. Magnet is a 4 track EP penned by Emma Reid and produced by Clive Culbertson. It is an upbeat collection of original songs. The lyrics convey a positive, empowering message taken from experiences of a sometimes negative and difficult world. The EP incorporates various musical styles, such as pop, soft rock, folk and alternative country. It has been noted that Emma's style bears traces of Marianne Faithfull, Sharleen Spiteri and Sheryl Crow. However, she still manages to emanate her own unique sound. The thoughtful, intelligent lyrics reflect on her experiences with failed relationships as heard in the captivating yet light hearted, first track of 'Fair Weather Friend'. She considers life's cycle of unrequited Love in the Title Track 'Magnet', and conveys her strong belief in Karma in 'The Wheel has Turned'. 'Silly Little Beauty Queens' Is a thought provoking story which deals with the struggle in balancing her true self with the sometimes shallow and superficial world of modelling.
