Void music presents with it’s first release, the Fly By Night EP, showcasing Toronto’s hidden gem, Basic Soul Unit. Fly By Night is one of those tracks that is exactly what you would anticipate from this break-through producer/dj. It slowly builds in typical BSU style into a symphony of acid/deep/tech house and then immerses you into a feeling of back corner, head nodding madness. Next up is Aftermath, produced by Void Music’s Adam Khan. This percussion based track has an afro-style rhythm at first, than incorporates a stabbing synth and lush chords. Summadat Funkiestuf has a Chicago-esque type feel with techy undertones produced by Void’s Uncle D.
