Pure Divine Music Ministries is formerly known as the Bessemer Community Fellowship Mass Choir, which was founded in 2007 by Minster T.L. Dirden at 2nd Avenue Beulah Baptist Church.  God gave Minister T.L. the vision to establish a community choir for the people in Bessemer, AL. and the surrounding areas.  Minister Dirden knew Bessemer was a community full of talented singers and musicians and when he put out the call, they came to support.  Soon after, the BCFMC would become a positive and profound representation of the city.  They welcomed every opportunity to use their voices to bring people closer to God. 

The Bessemer Community Fellowship Mass Choir remained faithfully in tact, until God begin to lead Minister T.L. to something different. In 2013; after several years operating the ministry as a community choir,  the Lord would have Minister Dirden to re-organize the structure of the choir into a gospel singing ensemble and this aggregation of singers would be renamed "PURE DIVINE" . The ensemble is best known for vocal precision, polished chorus arrangements, thunderous harmonies and unique vibrato acrobats.  PURE DIVINE brings a fresh new approach to traditional choir music with the style and flavor of the new generation chorales. 

In November 2014, Minister T.L. Dirden & Pure Divine released their highly anticipated debut single "Prayer is the Key" on digital music stores.  The single is receiving national support and validates Minister Dirden as a talented songwriter, composer, and music producer.  The aggregation is often compared to some of the brightest names in the gospel music arena and their powerful and boisterous presentations are never disappointing.
