简介

Tehillim (Psalm) is the melding of interpretations of written word in musical form. An implied antiphon occurs throughout and each psalm verse is freely presented with framework such as text painting and cell chordal/modal assignment. Individual lines may stray into a welcomed cacophony at times, but the beauty is still present inside the chaos - somewhat reminiscent of a society that struggles to see and hear the individual through a perceived clouded assignment of a group or label. A balance of perception comes into focus many times and offers the notion that this chaos can and is only moments away from finding a spiritual commonality that we ultimately desire. - B.
