Each new album beings with an idea, an inspiration, and for me, it was to combine the music I love best: Broadway and Big Bands. Russ Kassoff was there from the beginning to somehow take what I sang to him and make it soar. I cannot thank him enough for hanging with me thru this process. Also, thank you to Frank Wolf for a lifetime of friendship, and being such a brilliant, generous man. The only difficult thing on this project was choosing from the thousands of great Broadway songs.
